Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce | World & Olympic Champion Track Athlete

The Daughter of the Soil is none other than Kingston, Jamaica's own, "Pocket Rocket", World and Olympic Track & Field Champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Born in the Waterhouse district of Kingston, Shelly-Ann would go on to become one of the greatest athletes the world has ever known. With all of the success Fraser-Pryce attained, she has never forgotten where she is from and who helped her along the way. Shelly-Ann has now made it her mission to give back to the very community that helped her become who she is today.

In 2013, Fraser-Pryce launched the Pocket Rocket Foundation and PRF Scholarship Fund with the purpose of supporting Kingston communities and student-athletes, ushering in the next generation of Jamaican Greats. Since it's inception, the scholarship fund has assisted 55 students from 22 Jamaican high schools, islandwide, with tuition and books. The foundation also supports the community through the annual Christmas Treat event, the SFP Six-A-Side Football Competition and much more.
